TASK // gdynia

The master students should develop their own new concepts and plan a new use of specific buildings  and constructions (heating plant, shed, cranes etc.) considering the urban development of the shipyard in Gdynia. The students are organized in international mixed teams and work close to the project area.  In a first phase they are going to understand and analyse the urban context, defining an architectural program and developing a new idea in order to give value to the place. In a second phase they are going to establish the urban process of development of the new quarter and design exemplar buildings which structurally change the use of some existing constructions. The work will be public presented at the end of the workshops.
